Accessibility is more than an idea to us, it is a core aspect of how we work.

Accessibility at the Heart of Our Collective

At Trans Queer Disability Doula Collective, accessibility is not just an idea—it's a fundamental part of how we operate. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to support and resources, especially those from marginalized communities.

What We Offer

We provide home support, consultation services, and connections to our network of trusted providers and communities. Our focus is on supporting marginalized queer, trans, non-binary, disabled people of color, and those with intersecting identities. Please note that while we do not provide medical services, we offer a comprehensive network of care through mutual aid.

Our Commitment to Access

Our goal is to provide a range of access options to ensure that everyone can engage with our services comfortably. These include:

Language Access: We strive to offer materials and support in multiple languages to break down language barriers.

Accessible Reading Materials: Our resources are designed to be understandable for individuals with varying educational and literacy backgrounds.

Digital Access: We ensure that our online platforms are accessible and user-friendly for all, including those with disabilities.

Flexible Scheduling: We work to accommodate different schedules and needs, recognizing that everyone's circumstances are unique.

Mutual Aid Framework: At the core of our approach is a mutual aid framework that emphasizes collaboration and shared support.

Our Approach

As a small operation relying on sliding scale payments and donations, we have limitations on what we can offer. However, we are committed to making every effort to provide accessible support. Our environment is collaborative and non-gate-keeping, meaning we work to share resources and connect you with the care you need—whether that's through our services or by linking you with other vetted providers in our network.

Join Our Community

Together, we can build a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone. Thank you for being part of our journey.
